What’s this inspirational fiction book about?
The Pinnacle Beacon is a guidebook for spiritual and personal growth in a fun allegorical and inspirational fiction novel.
It’s about a teenage girl named Alva. She meets Elbon, a wizard, who tells her she’s chosen to write a book of forgotten spiritual truths that will evolve and save mankind from their impending demise. He takes her through time to magical worlds where they meet friends that join them on their allegorical pilgrimage, discovering the forgotten answers to life’s deeper questions.
Alva is shown our true identities, the purpose of life, how and why we choose paths that betray who we are, how fear and reluctance cause chaos and destruction and prevent our ultimate destinies, how we miss connection with the Divine by placing mind and body in two places, and how to identify and transcend shadow sides of our personalities that block our Soul’s fullest expression.
In this inspirational fiction, Alva discovers love, friendship, growth, her true power, and herself in this whirlwind of adventure, challenges, and pilgrimage of lessons.
The birth of The Pinnacle Beacon:
As I described on the My Story page, the inspiration to write this book came a few years after an intense prayer. In that prayer, I offered my will and my life to the will of the Divine. I asked to be used to do the greatest good for the greatest number of people.
I began experiencing symptoms shortly thereafter, and was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. It took a few years to become acclimated to all the symptoms and to find a treatment to help with the pain.
I always felt a book inside of me, but every time I tried to start, it just didn’t feel right. One of the symptoms of the tumor is my inability to remain upright for long periods of time. Activities are limited when you have to lay down most of the day. However, I discovered I could type in bed with a tablet and detachable keyboard.
I probably never would’ve written this book had I not gotten this tumor. I understand that this tumor was the only way the Divine could fully answer my prayer. It was the only way I would grow and endeavor to claim my power and greatness.
I vividly remember the moment the idea of The Pinnacle Beacon came to me. It was November 1st, 2013. That’s 11/1. After that, I continued to see 1:11, 11:11, and streams of ones everywhere. Now I’m not a numerology person, but it got to the point where it was more than just a coincidence, so for curiosity’s sake, I Googled what seeing all these ones was all about.
The article I read said it was the Universe and my angels sending me a message that I’m on the right track, and that the Universe is calling me and backing me. From then on, I continued to see 1:11 and 11:11 ALL THE TIME! And I wasn’t trying. Call me crazy but… it’s seriously been… crazy! Hahaha! Guess what day I finished the first draft of the book? November 1st, and not on purpose.
Along with the book, I write The Light Society Blog. It covers deeper topics, such as, spirituality and personal growth, to lighter hearted topics, such as, my favorite products and recipes. Check it out! And make sure to subscribe!
My intention for the book:
My intention for the book remains the same. I pray that it serves the greatest good for the greatest number of people. My intention is fulfilled if this book is one of the most influential inspirational fiction books of our time.
Book Progress Update:
September 2018: I plan to launch a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for editing and publishing process. Crossing my fingers for $10K!
I’ll know how much editing I can get once I know how much is raised. I need $5K for the basic package, $10K for the premium package, and anything over will go to publishing actual books! WOOOOHOOO!!! SOOO excited!!
